Avalanche Alpine Lodge is the perfect place to stay and play this winter, with affordably priced self-contained apartments, lodge style suites and bunk rooms. Avalanche has an accommodation solution for everybody. Whatever your choice, you will be sure to enjoy all the benefits a lodge stay has to offer. At Avalanche we pride ourselves on our personal service and good old fashion hospitality Positioned amongst the snow gums right in the heart of the Mt Buller alpine village, with all resort facilities within a few minutes walk, Avalanche offers a warm and cozy boutique accommodation experience with spectacular views across Mt Stirling and the high country. The Ava-Lounge at Avalanche offers a retro lodge style licensed bar, open fire, pool table and live music, whilst our restaurant serves generous hearty country style meals fit for a hungry skier or snow boarder. Our self-contained apartments include lounge / dining area, fully equipped kitchen, TV, bathroom, separate toilet and comfortably accommodate six (with a maximum of eight at your discretion). Or there’s our range of bed and breakfast suites, accommodating from two to four all including vanity basin (with share bathrooms), TV, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and daily continental breakfast. All linen, towels and soaps are provided, and other facilities include a toasty warm drying room, ski room with lockable racks, public laundry, public phone, games, and even the option of a Melbourne to Mt Buller door to door shuttle service, and of course we are always happy to assist with discount ski or board hire and ticket sales.
